We’re delighted to have been given the go-ahead to reopen soon, and the team at Bite Dentistry are excited to be allowed to return to provide our patients with the dental care they need and deserve.
To ensure our team and patients’ safety, there are a number of measures we’re putting in place before we re-open and we’d like to outline these below:
Urgent Dental Care As A Priority
We’re aware that there have been many missed appointments in our patients’ diaries and our team will be working hard to reschedule these around the clock. Initially our focus will be on urgent problems, and we’ll be getting in contact with these patients to organise their care as a priority.
Deep Cleaning & High Hygiene Standards
Our surgery will undergo a thorough deep clean before we open, and our already-excellent hygiene standards will be further improved with additional touch point cleaning and sterilisation.
Investing in PPE Solutions to Keep Staff & Patients Safe
In order to keep staff and patients safe, we’ve invested in large amounts of PPE. We have a designated PPE area, and all of our staff will be fully-kitted out in PPE including masks, gloves and aprons. We may look a little different under our PPE but we are still the same friendly team!
Refurbishment & Social Distancing
Bite Dentistry is undergoing a refurbishment and redecoration to allow our staff to be socially distant, as well as our patients. The layout of our surgery will have changed, as will the typical customer process once you arrive. We will communicate via our website, FB page and direct email to inform all of our patients about the way their visit will differ from previously, allowing us to fully-comply with government guidelines on social distancing.
Integrating Technology
We have implemented the latest technology to help our administrative process throughout Covid-19. We have organised secure digital platforms to link information seamlessly – you will be asked to provide details about your Covid-19 status and also medical a nd dental histories. If you have any difficulties with these then please let us know and our team will be happy to help.
A Big Thank You To Our Patients
We hope you have remained healthy and well throughout this difficult time and we look forward to seeing you soon. We'd like to take the opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers for supporting us through this time – and thank you for your patience! We’ve received a great response from the patient story we shared of Jill*. It was wonderful to hear how our work has helped touch our patients’ lives. If you have a story you’d like to share with the Bite community, we’d love to hear from you.
