About CEREC Teeth in a Day Technology
Cerec is an innovative system used by less than 1,000 dentists in the UK and can be found in use at our Edinburgh dental practice.
Cerec dental technology allows us to design and create custom dental restorations for our patients. The process of CEREC technology allows us to provide same day treatment, saving time and reducing any period of discomfort.
With the use of CEREC we are able to provide treatments for dental issues such as white filling, dental crown, bridge, inlay or veneer treatments during a single appointment – something that could take at least two weeks and require multiple visits without the use of this incredible technology.

How CEREC treatment works
First we take a precise scan of your teeth, taking a digital photo of the treatment area that will then be turned into a virtual 3D model of your teeth.
Once your virtual model is ready your dentist will input the requirements for your treatment and Cerec will do the rest, creating the final restoration.
Once this has all been done the restoration will be polished and bonded to your tooth to form a perfect restoration that seamlessly blends in with your natural teeth.
