Unfortunately our phone lines are currently down. We are doing all we can to resolve this ASAP but in the meantime, we cannot receive incoming calls. However, we are able to call out, so if you need urgent attention, please email us on and we will call you back as soon as we can.

COVID Update from Dr O'Connell

In keeping with government guidance, Bite dentistry is currently OPEN.

During the first lockdown in March we weren’t allowed to work due to concerns about availability of PPE and how best to mitigate against virus transmission. Once we re-opened in July we implemented many new steps in our cross-infection control policies to allow the safe delivery of dental services. These protocols protect us all.

All prearranged appointments can go ahead as planned. It is essential for long term oral health to have regular check-ups and maintenance so please attend at your scheduled time unless we contact you to cancel. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Why Dental Implants are the Gold Standard in Tooth Repair

If you know anything about dental treatments, you will know that dental implants are one of the more popular options for patients looking to improve the appearance of their teeth. Not only do dental implants provide a long term solution, but they can significantly boost self esteem and confidence. At Bite Dentistry, we are firm believers that dental implants are the gold standard in tooth repair and there are a number of reasons for this.

What is the Difference Between General and Cosmetic Dentistry?

Whereas general dentistry focuses on the health and quality of your teeth, cosmetic dentistry focuses on the outward appearance. If you are experiencing pain or discomfort, general dentistry is for you. If you are unhappy with your smile, cosmetic dentistry is for you.
